How To Get Her To Notice That You’re Ready To Get Back Together
Most people find their head spinning right after a breakup. They wrack their brains thinking about what went wrong and why their ex decided to spurn them. They immediately start to strategize about how they can get their ex back.
Maybe an apology, or a letter, or an email. The truth is, at a time of such anguish and guilt, they should take some time to be alone. I understand that is the last thing that an individual wants to hear at such a tough time, but it’s probably the best thing one can do if they ever want to get their ex back.
Calling your ex and begging them to give you a reason for the breakup always leads to a dead end. The truth is that you may never know the real reason for your ex’s actions. This is especially true with women. Sometimes they just get very emotional and make a rash decision. Lots of times they regret it immediately after. The best thing you can do is not care about the reason. Your focus now should be on fixing the situation.
The first part of your strategy is simple. You need to put the breakup behind you and move on. Sulking in your apartment with a gallon of ice cream and a Michael Bolton album isn’t going to help you. Instead, call some friends and plan a guys night out. Go to a nice pub or a gentlemans club and let loose. Treat yourself to a massage or join a gym and work on your appearance. The point is, use the time alone to improve yourself. Show your ex that you are moving on and not dwelling on the breakup.
Whatever you do, don’t call her. I’m not saying you need to stay away for forever. In fact, doing so would be detrimental to your goal. You just need to stay away long enough to show your ex that you’ve moved on. Even if they move on and start dating someone else, this strategy can still work. The chances are good that both of you may have met someone else. That’s called a “rebound relationship”, and it probably won’t last.
The benefit of a strategy like this is that it gives your head time to clear and your feelings a chance to cool down. You can think with a cool head and make educated, rational decisions. One of those decisions may be not to go after your ex. That’s right. You may have decided that you don’t want to get back together after all.
It’s now time for you to make that decision. Do you want her back? Or don’t you? Once you do make up your mind, act accordingly.
If you do decide you want her back, build a strategy. Don’t simply call her and beg her to come back to you. Because you stayed away and moved on, you are going to have the upper hand. Don’t relinquish it by begging, pleading, and generally acting “clingy”.
Instead, you need to play it cool. Talk to your ex about all of the things that you have been doing since the breakup. Make it clear that you are alright, and have been for some time. Tell her how you’ve changed. This will prove to her that you have matured, and she’ll find that attractive. The key here is to play “hard to get” a little bit. Women love a chase just as much as a man.
If your relationship is meant to be, you’ll end up getting back together. Try not to overthink it. If you do you’re liable to make a stupid mistake or say the wrong thing. Just act naturally and pretend it’s the early stage of a brand new relationship. Forget about the past, and put the “old” relationship behind you.
